Overview of the cross-country ski region and trails
The cross-country skiing network in the Saalfelden Leogang region stretches from Hochfilzen to Hinterthal. It offers varied circular runs and forms the annual cross-country skiing marathon.
Thanks to these top conditions, the region is able to foster local talent. As a result, we keep producing international cross-country skiing winners such as Felix Gottwald, Simon Eder, Bernhard Tritscher, Julian and Tobias Eberhard, Sven Grossegger and Christina Rieder.
Route selection and descriptions
Circular route, access at the Ritzensee cross-country skiing centre close to the Ritzenhof, then across open terrain to Unterhasling and Oberhasling and back. Varied, connects with Haid and Maishofen. Distance 5km, intermediate.
Circular route, access in front of the Ritzenhof. Distance 2.5km, easy to intermediate.
Lit daily until 10pm.
Junior World Championships 88 and 99, Military World Championship 2000, World Cups, 2.4km, 5mm and 7.5km, challenging, constantly changing, copied terrain, partly in forest.
Circular route, access from the Ritzensee cross-country skiing centre.
Starts at the connection to the Kollingwald cross-country ski run, overall distance 14.4km. The first 3km are easy, then intermediate.
Detours to Maishofen and Lenzing possible.
