And for several good reasons: the postures – or asanas – stimulate flexibility, strengthen muscles and joints and provide balance for body, mind and spirit. Yoga sharpens our perception, concentration and focus on the here and now, providing ideal conditions for inner peace and profound relaxation.

Our Hatha Yoga sessions are held throughout the year, either in the Yoga room or on the lakeside Yoga platform. Everyone is welcome: men, women, novices and advanced Yogis and Yoginis. All Yoga is included in our guests’ ALPINE HOLISTIC® exercise and activity plan.

Archery is one of humanity’s oldest forms of hunting, although the challenge today is of a more athletic nature. Wend your way through forest and meadows and over hill and dale on the hunt for three-dimensional animal-themed targets. As your primal instinct awakens, let go of your thoughts and let your body do the talking.

Bows, arrows, arm guards, finger guards and quivers are available for hire.

SUP – stand-up paddling – is in vogue! Few sports are as adaptable and varied. What do you need to succeed on a SUP board? There isn’t that much to it, although you soon know where you need to improve. More than brute strength, SUP requires stamina, composure and balance. That’s what makes stand-up paddleboarding so much fun.

Beginners should use a large board with plenty of buoyancy as this will make it much easier. We have opted to have large boards at the hotel to ensure that nothing stands in the way of your first SUP attempt: slip the board into the water, stand at the centre of the board with knees slightly bent, and... go!
